Simcoe-Grey Liberals Nominate Andrea Matrosovs as their Candidate
Simcoe-Grey Liberal’s nominating meeting took place at the Canadian Legion in Collingwood on Monday April 16, 2007.
That meeting confirmed the nomination of Andrea Matrosovs as the Liberal candidate in the next Federal Election.
“The Nominating process was very successful,” said Ken Eady, President of Simcoe-Grey Riding Association.
“Andrea Matrosovs will make a great Candidate in the next election,” Eady said, “More importantly she would make an important contribution as Simcoe- Grey’s Member of Parliament. We believe the people of Simcoe-Grey would have strong and intelligent representation in Ottawa, if they elect Andrea”.
Eady and Matrosovs wanted to thank Steven Fishman and Darlene Watters. They had both sought the nomination, but chose the to leave the race early (Fishman will seek the provincial Liberal nomination). “We were very pleased they were part of the nomination process. We appreciate their efforts”. Eady said.
