Andrea Matrosovs - Simcoe-Grey Federal Liberal Candidate
Andrea Matrosovs has been a teacher since 1989, and teaches French at Collingwood Collegiate Institute. She is also pursuing a Master's degree in governance, public management and community development.
Andrea believes in community and public service, currently volunteering in Simcoe-Grey as a Board member of the United Way of South Georgian Bay and as a Board member of the Collingwood Public Library. She has more than 20 years experience in local and global community activism, from serving on her children's school parent council to volunteering as an adult literacy teacher for Haitian refugees in the Dominican Republic.

Andrea recognizes the importance of protecting the environment on a local, national and global scale and believes Canada should maintain integrity in the international community on this issue. She will also work on developing national strategies that will assist the communities of Simcoe-Grey with economic and employment opportunities, affordable housing, healthcare and infrastructure expansion our rural areas.
